Most of the images on this website I made on film in the decade+ that I lived in New York City (2002-2014). My work consisted primarily of cityscapes, street photographs and street portraits. I had a simple process, using a 50-year old Hasselblad film camera and developing the negatives by hand. I still review the archive of negatives I made during that time, seeing new possibilities in old images. I occasionally post them on Instagram at @adamgarelick and update this website from time to time. I am currently located in west Hartford, Connecticut where my focus has turned to documentary wedding photography.
